Nollywood actress Kudirat Ogunro has weighed in on the family clash between late gospel singer Toluwanisings and his wife.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that one of his uncles, on behalf of the family, released a statement laying out terms for when and where the singer would be buried. He said the family was prepared to cover mortuary costs for as long as the process takes, and the burial must take place at his home where his wife and children reside.
Toluwani’s uncle said his wife refused to bury him at the house, and they suggested the family’s house, which she also refused, saying it was far.
Weighing on it, Kudirat said burying people at one’s home isn’t a good idea.
Explaining why, she asked what would happen if the children grew up and decided to sell the house. Kudirat questioned who would want to buy a house with a burial ground.
She maintained that it is personally not advisable.
“I said it last month, and I’ll say it again: burying people at home isn’t a good idea.
What if the children grow up and decide to sell the house? Who wants to buy a house with a burial ground?
Yes, people may buy such properties and exhume the remains, but why create that problem in the first place?
Personally, I don’t think it’s advisable. Just my opinion, though!
In other news, in a message to her colleagues, Kudirat admonished anyone fighting her to desist. She noted that she could make peace with her enemy at any time and would be called an ingrate for doing so.
Kudirat made a shocking revelation about the importance of sex to a woman’s beauty. She revealed that a lack of sex reduces a woman’s beauty and admonished women to adjust.
The Yoruba actress advised married women to accept that their husbands would have other women outside. She further advised that for better mental health, women should make peace with their husbands’ side chicks.
In another post, she stated that she would allow her husband to have a girlfriend aside from her. She explained that men are polygamous by nature, so she wouldn’t want to decide for herself by believing that her future husband will not keep a side chick somewhere.
Back in 2023, Kudirat left her fans concerned as she shared a disturbing post about death, pleading to be shown love. She noted how she would die one day, and her loved ones would mourn her and move on, while her haters would rejoice in her death.
The Yoruba actress spoke out on the challenges of being a single mother. She admitted that it hasn’t been easy for her, and reminiscing on it always leaves her in tears. She recounted how she would back her daughter to hawk on the streets or wash dishes at restaurants and how her mother drove her out of the house and she had to squat with a friend.
