Olori Ashley, the fourth wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is making headlines over her sweet way of welcoming the monarch.
In a video shared online, the King returned home after a trip outside his kingdom, and his wife honoured him in style.
In the clip, Olori Ashley and her son had waited outside the palace, prostrating as he got out of his car.
The monarch acknowledged his wife and son and told them to stand up. Later, he was seen carrying his son before handing him over to his mother.

Recall that the Ooni of Ife married Princess Ashley as his fourth wife in October 2023. This was a dream come true for Princess Ashley, who had been a long-time concubine of the monarch. The royal wedding was held in Ile Ife, with many dignitaries in attendance.
Queen Ashley shared the secrets of her love for the king. She shared lovely moments between herself and her husband, listing the many things the king kept doing that made her dedicate herself to him.
In September, 2024, Ooni and Ashley had announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. Queen Ashley noted how, for over a decade, the enemies tried in her relationship with the monarch, but God made them victorious. She revealed that 2023 was a little dark for them as they lost twins, but God remained faithful.
Last year, Queen Ashley celebrated the Ooni’s 10th coronation anniversary. Showering him with praises and prayers, she promised to renew her unwavering support and eternal devotion to him.
That same year, she had written a love note to the Ooni on their 3rd wedding anniversary to the Ooni. She stated that from the day he chose her, her heart found its home in him. She called the monarch her greatest blessing, and promised to love him endlessly, to care for him and to stand by him.
