Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko is said to be backing his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, as she begins a new journey to healing following substance abuse.

Blogger Stella Dimokoko Korkus claimed that the movie star, who recently celebrated her 25th birthday, had cut off her mum and siblings as she begins a detox process to clear her system of drug abuse.

The blog claimed Regina is blaming her family, mostly her mum, for many things that went wrong, and that her siblundisclosed issues.

According to reports, even her best friend Cassie has been cut off because she is the one who supplies her with substances and connects her to the ladies they both swing with when they are high.

At the moment, Daniels is unable to walk by herself as her legs are very shaky, swollen, and weak, and she constantly relies on a wheelchair.

Despite their separation, Nwoko is reported to be the one standing by her side and seeing her through it.

Kemi Filani reported that the movie star shocked many when she marked her 25th birthday with a video of her in a wheelchair.

The actress, who had been absent from the media space for a while, disclosed she had lost the courage to move around because of a minor pain that escalated to a severe one.

In September, Regina was captured in a live video hanging out with her kids and her stepson at Ned’s house. When the movie star realised that her stepson was on Live with her, she abruptly ended it.

Recall that in October, last year, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reason for leaving her marriage.

Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
