Three Nigerian brothers die within a year

Three brothers from the same parents have passed away within one year. One Elder Jerry Nyikwagh shared the tragic news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, October 28,  2026. According to him, Jonathan Akpera passed away on September 2025, followed by Tilenenge Akpera in July 2026. The only surviving son, Akpera Joseph, a serving officer of the Nigerian Army, passed away two days ago, leaving their mother childless.  “What ever transpired,  it was not, it is not, and it will never be fare for a a man's generation to perish within the twinkle of an eye Haba,” he wrote. "After years of struggle and hustle both academically and service to our dear country, after all the risk of driving and farming to bring your children up, just at when they could give back and contribute to the society,  you took all!!! I mean all from a poor woman who watch her pain of labor and labour wasted away within a twinkle of an eye. "Oh father nature!! I petition you for allowing this evil to prevail on this family. For the evil you have done to this  mother. For the evil you have done to this society. "First it was Jones Akpera barely one year, you took Tilenenge Akpera Logic barely few months you did it again by completing what you started with the only remaining son, my Officer Akpera Joseph. I am pained,  my heart is heavy , I am broken. "I don't know if my friend Johna Akpera and Tilenenge Akpera aka Logical Logito will rest in peace now that their only surviving  brother too has gone to join them? “How could both of you allow this boy to follow you, leaving Mama with who? MBAGBERA NE NONGO KWAGH VE!!! WHAT DO I SAY? GOOD NIGHT GUYS.”
