Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile appears to have taken a subtle jab at social media activist VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM, in a new song featuring Peruzzi and Shoday.
The track, titled INFERNO, has caught the attention of listeners, with many interpreting one of Zlatan’s lyrics as a possible reference to the activist amid their long-running feud.
In the song, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent I no fit masturrbate.” The line mentions Vincent, VeryDarkMan’s first name, and appears to allude to a past controversy involving the activist.
The tension between the rapper and VDM dates back to the aftermath of singer Mohbad’s death. At the time, the activist repeatedly called on Zlatan to speak publicly about what he knew regarding the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death.
VDM also shared alleged audio recordings and accused the rapper of having relevant information but failing to disclose it publicly. He continued to challenge Zlatan on social media, insisting that the musician had answers to questions surrounding the case.
Zlatan, however, did not publicly respond to the activist’s accusations at the time.
